Profit & Loss Statement Software

A P&L statement only helps if it arrives while the owner can still act on it. SYEZPOS builds the income statement from the same data the counter uses: sales, cost of goods sold, purchases, expenses and returns. The result is a P&L that is current and traceable to real transactions.

Sales, COGS and gross profit

The P&L starts with revenue and the direct cost of what was sold. SYEZPOS pulls sales from the POS and matches them to the cost of goods sold from inventory, so gross profit is not a guess built from averages at the end of the month.

Each sale reduces stock and records the cost in the same moment. Discounts and returns are also reflected, so the gross profit line shows what the counter actually earned, not what the owner hoped it earned.

  • Revenue comes straight from POS sales.
  • Cost of goods sold updates with each sale and return.

Operating expenses and net profit

After gross profit, the P&L needs every operating cost: salaries, rent, utilities, supplier payments and daily expenses. SYEZPOS posts these from the cashbook and supplier workflow so they show up as they happen, not when someone remembers to add them.

Net profit is simply gross profit minus these operating expenses. Because both numbers are current, the owner sees whether the month is truly profitable before the month is over.

  • Operating expenses post from cashbook and supplier entries.
  • Net profit updates as costs are recorded.

Profit by product and branch

A single company P&L can hide problems inside a product line or branch. SYEZPOS can show profit by product, category or branch, so the owner sees which SKUs and locations are carrying the business and which are dragging it down.

Product profit links revenue and COGS per SKU. Branch profit splits sales and costs by location. Both views use the same ledger, so the totals always tie back to the company P&L.

  • View gross and net profit by product or category.
  • Compare branch profitability from the same ledger.

Real-time, not month-end

Waiting for the accountant to produce a P&L means the owner is always looking in the rear mirror. SYEZPOS updates the income statement continuously as transactions post, so the owner can spot margin drops or cost spikes while there is still time to react.

The system also supports monthly, weekly and daily views, plus export and print for the accountant. The numbers are never stale because they come straight from the operational ledger.

  • P&L reflects today's sales and expenses, not last month's.
  • Monthly, weekly and daily views with export and print.

Who its for

Who needs a real-time profit and loss statement

Store owners who currently find out whether the month was profitable long after it ended. It is for retailers that want to see gross profit, operating costs and net profit while the transactions are still fresh.

It is also for multi-store owners and category managers who need product and branch profit views. When each SKU or branch has its own P&L, bad margins and rising costs become visible before they spread.
