Dropshipping has a handful of money fields — most live on the supplier's settings, one lives with the platform. Here's every one, who sets it and who pays it.

Every field, in one table

The per-parcel math

For a reseller, each delivered parcel works out to:

Customer COD − wholesale − supplier shipping fee − platform commission = your profit

The import dialog shows this estimate using the worst-case (highest) wholesale price of the variants you picked — it excludes checkout delivery fees, ads and returns, so price with room to spare.

How the money flows

  1. The customer pays the courier on delivery.
  2. The courier pays the supplier the collected cash.
  3. The supplier owes the reseller their share — tracked per counterparty under Settlements as available, on hold or paid.
  4. The supplier records a COD remittance when the courier cash arrives, then records payouts with a payment-proof image; the reseller confirms or disputes — a dispute returns the hold.

The payout hold

A delivered parcel's earnings stay held for the supplier's payout-hold period — that covers the return window, so a parcel can never have been paid out before its return window closes. Pay out only against available.

Platform commission

  • A percentage set by the platform — frozen on each fulfilment at forward time, so a later change never rewrites an in-flight order.
  • Invoiced monthly to the reseller as a normal billing invoice, paid the same way (proof upload).
  • Returned orders are netted out of the cycle.

Tip: The commission rate is never a guess — it's printed on each fulfilment and inside the import estimate. When comparing products, compare the estimate, not just the MSRP.
